LIP BLUSH / LIPSTICK TATTOO
Enhance the contour of your lips toward a pleasant, youthful, even pouty or sensual look
The perfect solution to streamline your beauty regimen or restore missing lip lines or faded lip color. For esthetic reasons lip micropigmentation can be used to enhance the contour of the lips toward a more pleasant, youthful, even pouty or sensual look. This service can help restore the lip edges damaged from cold sore outbreaks or to help reconstruct cleft lips. A variety of colors and techniques are available allowing you the convenience of a smudge free, easy to care for look.
Nowadays the trend is leaning towards a more natural and soft look, and while the full lip color is still a favorite, many are opting for a Lip Blush or tint type of effect. This technique is accomplished by layering the color in soft layers rather than packing the color in as in the more traditional lipstick look. Both styles have a place in the permanent makeup world and it’s up to the individual to choose based on the everyday look their prefer.
If you are someone who wears minimal makeup then a soft tint is what you would prefer, where as if you live a lifestyle that requires a full makeup look daily, then a more opaque and dense color lip technique would fit your needs best.
It’s all about choosing the right technique that will allow you to simplify your routine and simplify your life.

I had basically given up on my brows. Nothing had helped, not even filling them in with pencil. I was done. Until I Found AVARTE GROUP. It has literally stepped up my brow game! Vjera Zec introduced me to something called microblading which to be honest I had never even heard of before. All I knew was when I saw her before and after pictures I wanted in. The transformations are incredible! She took more pride in my brows than I had shown them in 15 years ! Sorry brows. Seriously so lucky I found her! #AndImBackInTheGame

5 Stars hands down! I've had my eyebrows done professionally since 2009. BUT never truly happy. Vjera has exceeded my high expectations being in the beauty industry. Her professionalism, knowledge, delivery and personality were a pleasure!! Not only did she correct my old brow work and reshape them beautifully, she made me more confident. Plus the down time to heal is so much easier. I can go to work confident that nobody can tell my brows are healing like in the past. Thank you again!

WHAT TO EXPECT POST PROCEDURE
While we strive for perfection on every procedure, results cannot be guaranteed to be perfect after the initial procedure due to the many factors affecting both integration and retention of pigments in the skin. Permanent and Reconstructive Cosmetic makeup procedures are directly affected by the skin that they are performed on.
Factors ranging from medications, sun exposure, smoking, hormones and age all contribute to fading and must be taken into account during pre and post procedure.
A finishing session must be scheduled between 6 to 8 weeks after your initial procedure to attain the best results and to keep your procedure looking its best.
Please refrain from altering the post procedure protocol advised, use only ointments and creams provided or recommended by Avarté.
AFTERCARE
Please Note:
- Immediately after the procedure gently blot any fluids with a lint free tissue twice during the first hour. After said hour proceed to apply with a Q-tip a very light coat of the ointment provided for the next 2 weeks or longer if desired
- Avoid makeup, Retin-A & glycolic acids on pigmented areas while healing.
- Avoid touching with fingers, sunscreens, direct sunlight, tanning beds and self-tanners on pigmented areas.
- Avoid swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, saunas and hot steamy showers. Shower with back to shower head to avoid water, shampoo and conditioner getting into pigmented area.
- Avoid dirt (as in gardening), extreme perspiration for the first week to prevent infection.
- Never use topical antibiotics unless given to you at time of procedure.
- Use a good sunscreen daily, once fully healed.
HEALING PROCESS

Day 2: Slight swelling, reddish and sore
Day 3: Swelling decreased, thicker lipstick texture, sore
Day 4: Exfoliation commences; lips feel very chapped
Day 5: Lips feel very chapped, most of the scabbing has flaked off, end of the first chapping stage.
Day 6: A soft, rich color begins to appear
Days 7-13: Lip color appears to disappear and the second chapping stage begins
Day 14 to day 29: The color will continue to bloom from within more and more each day until 4 weeks post procedure
Day 30 to Day 60: Healing process is primarily complete; the color outcome is what will remain although you may continue to see additional color changes at times based on your body temperature. Lips will remain a bit dry for a month or two. Please use a good moisturizing balm and sunscreen and they will return to their normal texture.
TAKE NOTICE
If you have a history of sores or fever blisters on the lips, chin or nose, it is recommended you contact your doctor to discuss pre medicating prior to the procedure. A prescription of 500 mg Valtrex taken twice a day, 3 days before and 4 days after the procedure, or as otherwise prescribed is advised to help prevent a cold sore outbreak. please note it is not guaranteed it will prevent them but it will decrease the chance of it happening.
